Relax and have your rental trailer waiting for you at your location! We offer delivery of rental trailers to various campsites, etc., at a nominal charge. Ideal if you don't have a proper towing vehicle. We will explain to you how to operate your Recreational Vehicle rental, and can also make recommendations as to the size of trailer that your towing vehicle can properly tow. RENTALS INFORMATION

A deposit ($100.00 per week of reservation, for camper or trailer, $200.00 per week of reservation, for motor home) is to be made at the time of booking a unit -refundable upon return if the unit is returned clean inside and undamaged. Upon cancellation of a rental, a deposit refund will be made only if the booked unit is re-rented for that stated period of time less a $25.00 cancellation fee.
Delivery and Pick-up of Trailers Available; $25.00 + $1.25 per Km. or $25.00 plus $1.25 off road oneway.

Rental of all units to be paid in full before departure. Reservation deposit turns into the Damage deposit.
7% Sales Tax and 6% GST on all unit rentals and mileage charges.
Insurance is included in rental charges, except for truck campers.

Motor Homes 1 million PL/PD $500.00 coll. $300.00 comp.

Travel Trailers 1 million PL/PD $500.00 coll. $300.00 comp.

Truck Campers 1 million PL/PD $500.00 coll. $300.00 comp.

Utility Trailers 1 million PL/PD

A fee of $2.00 per day to be charged for camper insurance. A collision deductible waiver may be purchased at a cost of $15.00 per day.

Preparation Fee; $30.00 per rental - includes initial propane, toilet chemical and a 4-pack of biodegradable toilet paper. Gasoline costs are clients responsibility - also have the engine oil and transmission fluid checked each time gasoline is purchased.
Hours of Operation:
8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Tuesday to Saturday. Summer rentals are Friday to Friday or Saturday to Saturday. Bookings are by week only, daily rates (3 day min.) on unbooked units only. Winter rates shoulder season, (May - June - September) 10% discount. Winter season (October to April) 20% discount - weekly rental only - Monthly trailer & camper rentals 50% discount.
Units are normally available for pick-up after 1:00 p.m. All units rented are cleaned inside and out.

Toilets and holding tanks must be emptied prior to return. Chemical to be used in all toilets. A $30.00 fee is charged if these tanks are not emptied. Porta Pottys are for rent at $10.00 per week. All holding tank valves to be in open position upon return. Sewer Tote $10.00 per week.
Units are to be returned in the A.M. of the last day's rental. If the unit is returned dirty there is a $30.00 clean-up fee.
Auxiliary propane tanks will be full upon initial rental and need not be filled upon return.
If the unit is returned later than time stated on contract, renter will be charged $25.00 per hour or portion thereof.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Wiring: Renters must have an electrical plug for tail lights - brake lights - left and right turn signals and electric brake control if required. Charge of $20.00 to connect wiring.
Hitches: We install hitches. We require appointments for installations. Some equalization hitches are available at $40.00 per rental.
Hitch ball: Size as required by rental unit, mostly 2" or 2 5/16" ball - can be purchased here. Hitch required is 17" to 18" from top of ball to ground. Trailer ball and ball mount $10.00 per rental.
Mirrors: Car fender mirrors are available at a cost of $10.00 per rental.
Brakes: The law requires electric brake control when the trailer weighs more than 3000 lbs. It is the renter's decision and responsibility to have electric brakes on the towing vehicle. We rent or sell brake controls. Rental is $20.00 plus installation.
Campers: Side pocket mounts are supplied free-of-charge. All campers are installed and unloaded with a hydraulic camper loader. Trucks requiring an under belly bar will be charged $30.00 per bar which includes installation, rent and take off.
Repairs: Mechanical repairs to be reimbursed upon proof of repairs and defective parts returned. All repairs over $50.00 to receive prior approval by phone call to leaser. In event of breakdown, we are not responsible for hotel costs or car rentals. Our liability is limited to refund of rental charges for any nights total loss of rental unit.
Courtenay Car Centre Ltd. will not be held responsible for loss of fridge, furnace, lights, etc., or low or dead auxiliary battery if you are not plugged into a 110-volt electrical campsite hook up.

Discounts:

At daily(3 days minimum) July and August weekly and monthly rental prices. Discounts on off-season times. High season is July and August.
